Bastid! You're livin' the dream! I want to go to there...

Have they opened up the other section yet?

    Why?

Because we like the taste of freedom; because we like the smell of danger. ~ E. Abbey

Every video I see of that trail gets me more and more fired up. Can't wait to ride it in a couple weeks.

    Cool video.
Ahab is becoming the go to quick xc loop for Moab.
Makes Amasa all that more fun knowing that you'll soon get to the goods with minimal time investment.
I was surprised by all the short and punchy ups on upper Ahab-no one talks or shows video of that section.
Lots of features and alt lines on the lower section that aren't obvious the first time through.
Fun trail no matter what speed you are going.

Yes, they have opened the other section and it had a lot of quick ups and quick downs.

Yeah, the upper part was cool but i didn't expect all that little climb before the main Ahab trail but it is cool, lot's of great views and tight rocks and after watch the entire video of the ride, there are definitely a few alternate lines for bigger moves and jumps.

Any word on Whole Enchilada? Was the upper section in the La Sals still covered in snow?

I just got back from Moab and had left Ahab for our 4th and final day of riding. Unfortunately, my back locked up on me the morning we were supposed to ride and I never got to see it. I guess I will have to make a return trip in the Fall! I did ride Kokopelli down and the consensus was that there was still to much snow and moisture to even ride Hazard. The shuttles will only take you that far regardless and we were thinking we could peddle our way up there. We were told it would not be worth the effort.
