    Mammoth- Smoke/ash

If anyone with respiratory or other health issues is planning a Mammoth trip over the next week or so, consider other options. There are three big fires currently burning to the west, northwest, and southwest. The Mammoth Lakes area is socked in with smoke and ash from about Convict Lake up. Lower Rock Creek is still good. We are hoping the wind changes directions tonight and gives Mammoth a break.

I'm hoping rain over the next few days will provide some relief.

Just rode Mammoth this past Saturday. Smoke is non-existent now. Great day!
