    Malibu/Mugu/Leo Carillo camping question

Malibu Creek doesn't allow fires, so that one is out.

Weekend MTB trip, so Leo Carrilo or Pt Mugu?

Do both of these allow fires and which is better for riding (I think it is all decent from what I've seen at Malibu creek)

    OR

other suggestions for North LA/South Ventura camp/mtb trip?

    Thanks in advance.

I cannot believe it either but I'm sort of tired of being frustrated with the nickle and diming going on in the state. I'll pay when I have to pay and poach when I can poach.

Eggs that is, poached eggs, mountain bikers are fine upstanding citizens who always recognize and respect the rules.

sycamore canyon (point mugu) is pretty nice. the trails are more scenic than technical, but there's some fun stuff out there, including backbone. 35 bones is f-ed up...

    Pt. Mugu/Sycamore Canyon

    OCD-

Here is a TR from a camping/ride trip I did before last Thanksgiving. Good scenic fire road climb and fun singletrack descent. Then walk across the highway and hang out on the beach afterward or head south short ways to Leo Carillo for a surf.

thanks moondog, I Will be sure to bring a longboard for EMFC, rumor has it he loves the pacific and has been wanting to learn to surf.

To make EMFC feel more comfortable, a shot just down the road from Point Mugu
