    Malibu Creek?

How's malibu creek holding up to these rains?

Thinking about heading out there during this spring break...

Anyone have any suggestions for a route? I've never been there before

    thanks

In general it's been trashed. Someone last week posted pictures of awesome erosion on Bulldog fireroad. Not worth the trip.

After it dries trails have to be repaired. One of the good points of M.C. was a rock garden that was technical and fun to ride, now the area is wasted.

    Nice Route

Here are the pics I took:

I guess I would recommend the route we did if you've never been, but pacman is right... crags road sucks through the rock garden, disappearing in places. This lasts about 500 yards or so? Just long enough that you think you are going the wrong way. Then it gets nice again by the MASH site. Bulldog is washed out in spots, but there are rideable lines all the way up. It is a long and steep climb but the views are awesome. Descend Castro to Mesa Peak to Tapia.

PM me if you want more specific directions for this loop.
