Lost: Garmin 305 GPS Watch on Fullerton Loop on 9/8, around 930am

My Garmin 305 GPS watch apparently flew off my wrist yesterday on the Fullerton Loop Trail at around 9:30 on the big downhill just before Gilbert or the big climb right after Gilbert, and I didn't notice that until after the fact. Should you happen to find it, please shoot me a PM here, email me at warren@warrenernst dot com, or call/text me at (714) 512-2224. Reward if recovered as a thank you. It has tons of historical running and ride data I would to love not losing either.

    It looks like this:

Unfortunately, it never did make its way back to me, so I just ordered up a replacement from Ebay from a guy who says it just say in a drawer for a few years, hardly used. We shall see...

Yup. I've lost me a garmin 305 once. I now put my phone number on it. On that jobby you might need to engrave it. On my 800 I used a label maker and its held up for a couple years. I know obvious but just a tip.
Oh and since I am talking about marking things use the small engraved pet tags to put your phone number on your keys. Saved me once after my keys fell out of my jacket at a restaurant.
    That'll be all.
Ride it like you stole it.

To the OP: is there any kind of ranger station or visitor center up there that might have a lost & found? If so check it out if you haven't.

A year ago I lost my keys out of my seat bag in Mission Trails park. Someone found them and returned them to the visitor center. They were in a drawer that was nearly full of all kinds of small items. Worth a shot.

I really like the idea of the pet tag w/ phone number.
