    Laguna Niguel XC Riding Advice

Deleted my earlier request for info - did a proper search and found some good tips /maps for Aliso.

    Laguna Niguel XC Riding Advice

I rode 16 miles at Aiso/Wood and I have over forty Strava segments? Including dueling safe -vs- hazardous segments? C'mon guys, was fun stuff, but c'mon...

Many of the trails in the park are pretty short. Cholla's only a mile, and Lynx and Rock-It are similar.

Can't really disagree some areas have super short segments, but, does it really matter/bother you that much?

There was an ******* who flagged every trail, so everyone and their mother decided to make their on 'custom / safe' segments. Now it's a total **** show spaghetti mess.

Edit: It's almost everywhere in OC. Check how many there are at SOaks, the Luge, El Moro, LCW, etc.

Yeah, I did an 11 mile ride yesterday and had 17 achievements. Very short segments.

What I really meant to say was ...

Fun stuff in Aliso/Wood. There are great trails already, and I kept eying the terrain and could see some great lines for more trailbuilding in the future. You guys are lucky to live in a place with such awesome riding weather. That climb up Mathis is the real deal. Makes the climb up Cholla feel like a warm-up. Much thanks to local bro' John on the new Niner hard tail for showing me around, and if you guys get out to AZ hit me up and I'll return the favor with a tour around the McDowells. See you next year, when I will clean the downhill washboard on Lynx or go OTB trying.
