Heading to Big Bear today from Vegas / Ride recommendations requested

The title says it all. What do you recommend? Scenic trail with flow is nice. I don't mind some climbing. I'll check back during the drive over and when I get in the area to see what anybody recommends. I appreciate it. Hope it's not too short of notice.

Ride Hanna Flats ST (rolling, twisting, turning fun!) to Gray's Peak ST (a gradual climb to a nice view of Big Bear Valley/lake). OR, do Exploration Trail in the Deerlick area down highway 330 about 20 miles. That one is a bit more technical but nothing a XC bike couldn't handle.

You gotta do Pine Knot. It is my favorite.

+1 on exploration trail. Worth doing it twice.

Edit: How long is the drive from Vegas to BB?
Alcohol may lead nowhere, but it sure is the scenic route!

Maybe your already here, but you have to do the new Skyline trail, it's pretty much xc only, which I like, but it is one awesome trail. You can access it either by riding up, . Town trail, Clubveiw, 2N10 or the lift.

I've never been to Big Bear. Do they have all mountain type trails, or is it all downhill? Their website isn't very clear on this.

How much of Skyline trail do they have now? From the top of Summit, does it go all the way over to Pine Knot? Going on Friday.

Skyline starts near where Pirates intersects with 2n10. It goes from the Radford truck trail heading west, past Grandveiw (1e01, Pineknot trail) past Clarks grade, almost to Champion Lodgepole. The trail is incredible, tons of fun, better than Pineknot, although PN is a great trail also. I believe that soon, the Big Bear Trails Foundation and the USFS are to begain cutting a new trail, and using some existing trails to go back to Snow Summit.

I have not been on Skyline yet. How much climbing is it or is it mostly downhill like Pine Knot?
