Join SDMBA on Gatos Ravine Trail in the Laguna Mountains where will help the USFS build a little over 1/10th mile of new singletrack replacing a blown out, fall line section of trail. For those of you familiar with the trail, this new section starts right before the flat top log ride.

We may temporarily lose the flat top log ride but only until we can move it to its new home. We will be gaining double the amount of trail we are losing and ultimately it will have the same Gatos Ravine fun factor.

Details to follow shortly as they are confirmed...

Join SDMBA on Gatos Ravine Trail in the Laguna Mountains where will help the USFS build a little over 1/10th mile of new singletrack replacing a blown out, fall line section of trail. For those of you familiar with the trail, this new section starts right before the flat top log ride and will end after the next log ride.

We will be gaining double the amount of trail we are losing and ultimately it will have the same Gatos Ravine fun factor.

Meet 9:00 a.m. at the Agua Dulce trail head parking area, we will carpool in, then hike to the work location. Sturdy shoes, gloves, eye protection are required, long sleeves; long pants & a hat are highly recommended.

This event will be longer than our usual 3 -4 hours so, please bring your own food and water. All tools and training will be provided. After trail work swag courtesy of www.calcoastbicycles.

Please R.S.V.P. to mark@sdmba.com so we know how many tools are needed.

Directions: I-8 East past Pine Valley to left on Sunrise Highway, drive approximately 8.1 miles and turn west onto Wooded Hill Road. The Agua Dulce trail head is just past the Wooded Hill campground.

A Forest Adventure Pass is required, available at Pine Valley General Store or the Laguna Mountain Lodge.

More details to follow, be sure to check the SDMBA forum for any late breaking changes…
