    Flightline Night Rides

Does anyone ride at night at Flightline in Carlsbad? I'm trying to find some people to ride with during the week, so if you're interested let me know

    thanks

There's a guy that's posted in the SoCal section of BIKE mag online that lives and night rides up there in Carlsbad. I don't remember the screen name right now, but the forum is slow enough that you could look at 6 months or so and find some mention pretty quickly.

I'll be camping at San Elijo in June and again in August. I'd be interested in some night riding then.

My night ride crowd has been AWOL recently

so I wouldn't mind a new crew to ride with. Would wednesdays work for you, Dough?

I ride Flightline at night about every 4th Thursday (splitting time between Hodges, Daley etc). If you've ridden it during daylight hours, night riding is a hoot there. Due to the tight, twisty trails, a head mounted light with a handlebar mounted light is a good choice. I only have a bar mounted light and it definitely has you wishing for a helmet mounted light to get around the twisties. Although with daylight savings...
