Just put in my $20. I'm down to dig on the weekends but who ever runs the FB page needs to give notice of dig dates.

I too have donated to the track. I saw it talked about on STR, and like where the plans are going.

I also posted in the STR thread about this. More people who know, the better!

    Thanks for your contributions.

Yes we will need volunteer diggers. And yes, a very high priority is to give advanced notice of a dig day. As we are working with some donated services and materials, there is a lot of coordinating that needs to happen. If we could write a big fat check, things might come easier. That doesn't mean this isn't going to happen, it just means a little finesse.

We hope to have some "dig" days scheduled soon and then we will notify via the facebook page first (Ride Heritage Valley-RHV) then get theword out via forums like this.

Thank you for spreading the word! That is exactly what we need. The more ears hear about this project, the better.

    Thanks again!

Is the exact location meant to be a closely guarded secret?

It may be obvious to locals, but none of the links mentioned (here and elsewhere), nor several Google searches provide even so much as a clue to where it is, except somewhere in or around Fillmore.

Not at all. There are several mentions of it's location on the facebook page (unless something was edited) https://www.facebook.com/pages/Ride-..._type=bookmark

Here's the info. The Fillmore Bike park will be located at the southwest corner of Two Rivers park in Fillmore. The nearest intersection is the corner of River st and D st. If you use Google Earth,it's the area that shows concrete pipe.

There is a pretty nice skate park at the complete opposite corner (northeast) of the park. If you're in the area, bring your board and check it out.

After grading, 34 loads of soil to build a base and some compacting...This is what it looked like today.

Thanks for clarifying. I had to scroll down to the post on May 21st to find a hyperlink to "Fillmore Bike Park" that finally revealed the actual location. Everything else just says 'Ride Heritage Valley" which led me on a wild goose chase via Google.

But did you really need to post it in 4 different threads.....on every message board?
