I had no idea what you were talking about so I Googled it out of interest.

9am start time according to the Los Angeles Wheelmen website (top of the page under "Current Ride Schedule")

    Looks like a fun event.

I'll head down there from the valley on my road bike. Then dump it and borrow a bike w/granny gears (Pacman?) for my annual summit

Only if you break my record (50). Speaking of heavy bikes I did this for practice.

No, just the usual time. A few climbs then back to mountain biking.

Sort of like mountain biking. I did 82 laps which was just second place to 90 laps. (I wasn't notified of the early start option and started behind on the count.) 4:30 was the end of the event.

Nicely done. Out of curiosity, what were you riding and what was first place riding?

On my Niner with road tires on my DT RR1.1 rims. SS granny geared.
First place was on a 26" MTB with road tires(?) and also SS granny geared. He learned from last year's 2nd place and copied everything but the 29er part.

Hey, I remember you Hollywood. You used my radio when the crazy woman was yelling at me from the other end.
