Cool-blue Rhythm Dual Slalom being built at Chamberlin Ranch

Thanks to NEMA International we have been able to enlist one of the sports best Dual Slalom builders, Landon Taylor to come down from Lake Tahoe to construct the new DS course at Chamberlin Ranch. He will also be roughing in the new Downhill if time permits. We have him for 4 days.

Landon has built many of the awesome DS and 4X courses for the NMBS and other events, we are excited to see what he does for us. The course is required for the upcoming Santa Ynez Valley National in May, but will also be avaialble to Stump Grider Dirt Club members starting in June.

Look at what we've done so far!

    More shots here! http://www.ridesb.com/photo_dualslolam.htm

But, as always if you want access before that, I'm an easy guy to get along with, there will be ample opportunities in that we will have many trail work days (XC too) where if you work for 3 or 4 hours, you can ride the courses for the same amount of time later in the day. THE FIRST OPPORTUNITY IS TOMORROW! Are you in? Show up at 8, help groom until 12 and then be the first to ride it! Everyone must work, no tailgaters.

Please help me give you a great place to ride! And thanks again to NEMA International!

    Hecky,

Love the concept of a series in the valley. The Fresno crew will be racing the xc series. Looking forward to your races...

Sure. I'm the race coordinator for Team Spatdog.com

We love the Firestone race and look forward to doing your series. Not to far from Fresno to race and quick get away.

Have you thought about having a race in conjunction with the Tour of California being in Solvang. I know I could talk a few guys into watching the TT if they could get their wheels dirt the day before or after the Solvang TT.

Again...I hope the series works out...Can't wait to participate.

    Hi Gary,

so that idea of having an event the day after the Solvang TT at the SGDC is a great idea ... but I'm on the Local Organizing Committee for the next days stage in SB. I'm the Free Kids Race Director that Saturday before the start of Stage 6. we could look at opening the club for Sunday perhaps?

We have a XC race scheduled for the previous weekend on Saturday the 16th.

Hey is Chris still involved with Spatdog?
