    DH/ FR bike shop

I'm going to LA and Ridgecrest, Kern County in a couple of weeks and plan on purchasing a freeride or downhill bike to bring back to Norway. Can anyone recommend a bike store with some selection?

Appreciate all feedback. Also if anyone know some good spots/ trails in or around Ridgecrest please let me know.

Don't know of shops that specialize in FR/DH but a few of the more popular shops in socal are Adrenaline Bikes in Orange and The Path in Tustin.

Check if Wheel World is still selling Giant Faith frames for $400...its hard to beat that.

    Their sale prices are insane.

Ridgecrest has two nice bike shops (considering the size of the town) but both specialize in XC and road. TJ Frisbies did have a Specialized hardtail DH bike on display but I wasn't paying that much attention. I haven't been in the other shop in awhile.

There was a UK pilot in one of the shops a few weeks ago that picked up a Blur frame. It seemed a little pricey to me but he thought it was a steal w/ the low value of the dollar.

If you want freeride/DH, BeyondBikes is the way to go. Their stock is unbelievable.
