    Chino Hills Trail Work

Killing the mustard - AKA as trail work!

Help reopen the trail you ride. Yes, most of the trails have grown over with that crazy mustard yet again. If you want to ride them unimpeded over the summer they will need your labor.

When: Saturday, June 5th at 8:15 AM
Where: Meet at the staging area on the Chino side of the park, just above the ranger station and at the terminus of Rolling Ranch Ridge trail. You will see signs. For more info on location, click on the link below
Why: So you can ride these trails

T-shirts will be given to all that volunteer. We will work until about 1 PM and then you have the rest of the day to do what you want. Come on out and help.

Please be sure to RSVP to volunteers@sharemtb.com before hand so that we have enough swag and water for everyone.

The details of the event are listed here: http://www.sharemtb.com/html/events/...ojectFlyer.pdf

    Good job!

That's National Trails Day, too. Pretty cool that you've got an event that day --let's hope for a cool-spell...

With the mustard that is up there (BIG) we will use McLeods to cut it down. We've tried a tool called a weed whip but we just ended up breaking them.

Come on out! We'd love to have more people show up and help!

i went today. it was neat

there were actually a lot of people that showed up. free t-shirts are always good

it was the first trail maintenance event i ever particpated in. bout time i did something to give back to the sport i guess.

only thing is. at some points in the trail the single track was almost turned into double track or even triple track. but with those trails after the first rain it'll be single track in no time

    happy riding
