Broke my bike chain yesterday. Need help on which to buy. Sram x9

I broke my chain yesterday at a local trail. Im looking to buy a new one, anyone have any recommendations on what to get? I have a SRAM X9 on a Specialized Epic 29er. Edgar What local shop in the SFV might have them?
    Thanks.

We are talking about chains....any shop should have something that works. 9 / 10 / 11 speed.....most shops will have several options depending on your budget.

SRAM PC 1051, 1071 would work fine. 951/971 if you're running a 9 speed. KMC makes great chains. Even Shimano chains work fine.

H&S in Granada Hills or Burbank
Cycle World in Northridge or Chatsworth
Santa Monica Mountains Cyclery in Woodland Hills
Bicycle John's in Burbank or Reseda
    Performance Bike in Woodland Hills
    Pedal Pushers in Van Nuys

Even REI has 9 and 10 speed chains (no 11 in stock).

I've had the best luck/longevity with KMC chains.

Make sure that you get the right chain according the gears/speeds on your cassette. If you are not sure, take the chain with you to your LBS.

Always used sram 1051 chains, have been trying KMC chains with good results.

    It is what they do.
