    A break in the weather

Finally the rain has just let up for a coule hours here in Pomona. So I just did a little ride here in my backyard to get my fix from 3 dayys of no-riding. There's this undeveloped hill that seperates industrial Pomona from the residental area (you can see it if you take the 71 through pomona). Its a fun trail that I do when I dont have time to ride. Just takes me 30 min to do the 5 mi out-and-back. This trail (mostly fireroad) is very rocky so much of the water doesnt stay around. So its the only place Ill go to after some rains. Anyways here are some shots:

    1) Heading up on the only ST
    2) Walking up the steep hill
    3) At the end, checking out the views
    4) Heading back down
    5) My favorite shot

Great Im hearing the rain again....

Nice that you got out today. I missed the window and am sure regretting it. THe storm right now is one of those kinds that makes me wonder how much trail is going to be washed away (again).

    Makes me wonder

why we didn't wait 'til spring break to go to Disneyland. 80% chance of floating through there. We're going to Cal Adventure first, 'cause it's supposed to suck. Disneyland on Tue, just in case the downpouring is done by then.

I'll buy you lunch in Santa Monica on Wed if you're free...

Nice to see that somebody had a little fun during this. I didnt have such luck though.

Note to self: do not ride maple springs during very heavy downpours. (for info on that)
