Big Bear Lake for Thanksgiving weekend

I'm heading to Big Bear for Thanksgiving, any suggestions on trails? Looking for some XC riding.

Also, any insight on trail conditions (I normally ride SB8s most of the year due to central coast dry conditions)? Would Nevegals be a better fit this time of year in Big Bear? Thanks.

Bring some warm clothes and all the trails are great here right now just cold. There all open now.

Cougar Crest loop (up Polique / down Cougar Crest), back up Polique and over to Hannah Flat, then finish on Grays Peak / Grout Bay.

    or

Start at Aspen Glen, ride up Mill Creek (2N10) to Plantation Trail 2N52Y (up) then out to Siberia Creek/Lodgepole Pine via 2N11, back to 2N10 to 2N17, head east over to the top of Cabin 89 (or Pineknot - 1E01) and down to Aspen Glen.

I think Nevegals would almost always be better in BB.

Make your way over to the backside and ride SART. Weather will be perfect for it.
