Is anyone going to this? I am thinking of coming down from Santa Barbara for it.
The Revolution will not be motorized...especially at $5 per gallon.

    I meant anyone from MTBR.
I figure the thing will be huge in L.A., any suggestions on where to park the van (we'll have our bikes so of course we can ride to the theater).

You can take the train to downtown LA, then ride to the theater.
Team X-poser is back for 2006-

sorry, my Internet Sarcasm Meter was set to "9". I turned it back down a bit.

are you staying for a while? One option is to use the free parking lot at the Universal Studios Redline train station. Take the train ($1.25) two stops to Vine and you'll be about a block from the theater. Bikes ok on trains. You could ride back to the van afterwards, which is a much safer route than riding to Hollywood. Other than that just look for street parking near HW & Vine.

see ya there - I'll be the guy on a fixie with a messenger bag.

just buy your tickets now, then it doesn't matter if it sells out.

Not true. I bought our tickets and the website states that the ticket does NOT guarantee you a seat. Its first come first serve. We'll just have to get there early.

True, that disclaimer was for the Festival Pass not for those that buy individual tickets.
Arrive Early as pass holders are not guaranteed a seat. Pass holders will be admitted first come first serve to each screening.
Regardless, get there about an half-hour early and all shall be fine.

Hmm, I did not see a place to buy individual tickets. I only saw the link to buy the passes (so i did). Crap now I am upset. I sure hope we'll be able to see the movies we want.

The 'buy tickets' button is hidden by the use of poor color choice - just above the thumbnails. Seriously, you shouldn't have a problem if you get there a little early. Enjoy the films, unfortunately, I'll be out of town. Sunday in Hell is a classic.
