    Beverly/Turnbull Parking Permit/Restrictions

last week tuesday (7/15), i noticed new signage posted along both sides of Bev/Turnbull. Has Whittier/or the Convervancy imposed a permit parking only for this road ???

It's been out of hand for a few years. I avoid turnbull on weekends for obvious weekends. I hit this place 2x weeks just for the pedal....usually gone before 4;15pm so as not to create problems for the folks returning home from work.

I had seen the signs up, but concealed (bags) until a specific date.

So, is the permit parking now enforce ???

Phuck! Full force. Side streets are littered with parking restrictions...

You should be able to park at the top though, I doubt there are any signs up near the top of Rattlesnake.

Some of the side streets don't have the signs up yet. I parked on Friends a few days ago and it didn't have any.

I rode that same day which is also when I first noticed it. Looks like the neighborhood petitioned the city for these residential parking areas. I'm not sure if they are completely enforcing it yet, since late last week there were a few crews still installing more signs.

Anyway, not a lot of options for parking except to park several blocks away and just ride to the entrance. Otherwise park up top at the Hacienda Heights side and start at 7th street loop. The bright side is that very few hikers/walkers up there now. I don't think they're willing to walk the extra 1/2 mile or more each way to get to the entrance.

I agree though, if I lived up there I'd hate to have to deal with all the parking madness in front of my house. Oh well, it's still a fun trail and worth keeping in my rotation.

    Beverly/Turnbull Parking Permit/Restrictions

I parked at friends ave this morning. Hopefully they would just put a time frame on parking during non peak hours and days.
