Anyone riding Cannell Plunge over Labor Day?

Some friends and I are planning on camping in Kernville and riding the plunge this Sunday, with the shuttle from MRA. We will probably try to ride Just Outstanding as a loop on Saturday, which I'm looking forward to since I haven't done it before.

Anyone else riding up Cannell Plunge or any of the other Kernville trails over the Labor Day weekend?

We rode the plunge on Sunday. We started at Big Meadow this time because we wanna make it fast so we can do other activity with the family.

Not riding this weekend, but I'm curious as to what you take from the bottom of JO. Wagy Ridge or...?

For a JO loop at the bottom of JO you hang a left on wagy flat, past the wagy ridge single track, and then a left on old state road. You can link in unal trail as well.

The map from kernriversierra.org is nice to have for the trails up there. The website also has good info on other rides.

Where do you park/leave your car for this route?

    Thanks!

Most seem to park where wagy flat and old state road meet. This requires you to drive up old state road, which means some dirt road driving. You can also park at the top where rancheria road and highway 155 meet if you don't want the car to get dirty.

Thanks! Also has any one ridden the JO->Wagy Ridge Trail recently that can report on conditions? Seems like the fire in June hit it... Is it rideable? Or would you recommend just going down Old state (seems like the boring fire road route?)
