    Anyone pre-ridden Casper's?

...in preparation for Oct 18? The climb up Oso is great cardio, but it's covered with loose dirt / sand. I spun out several times and wound up hike-a-biking a section. Anyone else have this problem? I don't mean to speak for others, but I would expect this to create cluttering on race day.

    ------

Nevermind. Course avoids the climb up Oso.

    Sorry for the delayed response.
Luckily we do not climb Oso, but we do come down it and it has always been a little loose-so please be careful. We are going to be climbing East Ridge Trail, which is still closed. They are replacing a pipeline that runs under it. The rangers have promised that it will be rideable by race day and we are hoping they take a water truck up it. Please continue to keep an eye on it for us. Any updates would be much appreciated.

I took East Ridge to get to Oso, so the portion of East Ridge that I rode was open as far as I could tell. Are you a non dot employee / volunteer?

He might know some of the Non Dot people.
I crashed hard enough on my Tallboy to break my leg,
