    Anybody ride Noble today 6/3/06?

Curious on what kind of temps were out there. I rode it last weekend and the temp was warm but had a nice breeze. I'm thinking about riding it again tomorrow but wondering how much warmer it will be with this heat wave.

the top will be comfortable to a little warm. Once you get to or just past the Widowmaker it'll warm up a bit. By the time you're at the Staircase it'll be HOT. Once you're ascending up whore, it'll just be freaking unbearable!

The canyon that contains whore is ungodly hot in January let alone in the middle of a heat wave!

But, if you properly hydrate at the top it's not a horrible ride even in warmer temperatures. Just drink lots.

Thanks YR. Looks like the temps start to cool off and next weekend seems to look better.

For us to break down and buy some Orbeas for coastal rides?

    Don't even say that! ;-)

Besides, I live in Penasquitos so even a rie to the coast involves some HEAT.

FWIW, I do have a road bike too. It's not as sexy as an Orea or a Cervello though. Just your average Specialized with full Ultegra................

Time to move to the mountains! Just higher than like 5000 ft. I'm seriously hoping that the temps in UT/CO are a lot lower than here!

Thankfully it was close to 100 degrees at the 24hrs of OC this weekend. Man was it tough riding in that heat.
