Any good wheel builders in north SD county/South Riverside county?

Hey all,

I found a good deal on line (wiggle) for hope evos and want 29'er WTB I-23's but don't know a builder. Does anyone have suggestions and about what it would cost to build up(labor) for that set that would be in driving distance of above?

It's not really the area you're looking for, but check out Larry over at Ghisallo Wheels . . . dude does splendid work for sure at very reasonable prices and he stands behind his builds without question.

I've hear that Mike at North of the Border Bikes does a good job, but I don't have firsthand experience.

I've heard the same as well. A few friends have used OTB with good results.

my buddy matt at tractionbicycles.com builds all the wheels for loaded precision. you could give him a shot too

I've been riding a set of Michael's 29er wheels for many years. They are still round and true as the day I picked them up at the old North of the Border shop. And Doug made sure the price didn't hurt too much.
