Any good frame welders in SoCal?

I'm not looking for a new frame, but I have an older one that needs a small weld to repair a crack in the seat tube. Has anyone found a good frame welder (or even machinist welder) who can help out? Preferably between the San Fernando Valley and Thousand Oaks area, but I'm willing to drive within the LA basin. NO OC or SD, please. Or...if you're the welder, what'll you charge to fix this?

Is that frame Al or Steel? If its Al forget it due to heat treat problems, it will just break adjacent to the weld. If its Steel, you can go to any welder with a Tig machine. I had a welder on Easy St. in Simi Valley weld my motorcycle (XR600) frame about 5 years ago.

Call the Path Bike Shop...there's a local welder guy who's been building frames for a while. He's built the owner an SS, himself an SS 29er, pretty handy w/ all that stuff. His name is Dennis. The dudes at the Path can hook you up w/ him.
