The Land Conservancy of SLO has reached the $11 Million (Including $4 Million from WCB) mark 91% of their goal towards $12 Million dollars to purchase a 900 acre parcel of land in Pismo Beach, right next to the ocean.
The next few weeks are crucial to the campaign to purchase the Pismo Preserve. They want to have all the necessary funds in place by the time they go to the Wildlife Conservation Board who intends to grant $4 Million towards the project. Last week’s Jazz Concert raised $80,000 towards the project.
If you have been on the fence about giving, not been able to give, our want just to make a donation now is the time. There are a few donors with matching pledges out there doubling your contribution. We are close. Every donation helps large or small to the project.
Zorro’s Café, 25% of proceeds on Tuesday, July 22nd, 2014 will go towards Pismo Preserve.
Many paintings of the Pismo Preserve can be seen at the offices of Blakeslee and Blakeslee on the corner of Santa Rosa and Marsh street in San Luis Obispo. Portions of all sales will go to benefit the project.
Please share this with Family and Friends we are almost there.
