    Beautiful bike!

    One heck ugly rider though...

But I hear he's one helluva mechanic and rider!

Just kidding Mondo, don't hit me with the wrench

So, I know the Rogue is said to be for all mountain riding. But with 8" of travel, could this be used for dh? Dh racing maybe? What will the Ellsworth riders be racing dh with anyway?

It weighs about 35 pounds with DX platform pedals...it climbs (for an 8in bike) amazingly well. I have been using it as a trail bike that can do literally anything. The build is: Fox 36RC2 TALAS, Saint cranks, X.0 rear der., X.9 triggers, Louise FR brakes w/ big rotors, King hubs on F219 hoops, Kenda Blue Groove 2.5/Nevegal 2.35, Thomson post, TruVativ stem/bars, SRAM PC991/PG990...yes, you can freeride it...yes, with enough fork, you can DH it...this thing is amazing. I got three coming in in Jan; two are sold already.

I'm looking to build an all mountain / freeride kinda rig. I have a Specialist and a Dare and I'm looking for something between the two, kinda like a full sus Specialist or mini Dare. I'm stuck between a Moment built up at the freeride end of the scale with 150mm z1s, and a single crown Rogue. My worry is the Rouge will be too close to the Dare which isnt much fun to ride up and across, and that the Moment might not be up to riding some place like whistler.
    Any thoughts?

Sounds like you really can't go wrong with the rogue. If it pedals well, and isn't too heavy, it would be a sweet freeride build.
