There is not a market for rep points and rep power.
In the real world you can exchange your own blood and kidney's and time on this earth for money. We should be able to do the same for these rep things.

Ah Ok,
Folks that give you negative reps remain anon.
I cant delete my posts.
when i press "Reply to Thread" it positions my post as a quote under the most recent post and not as a response to the thread.
The shear amount of advertizing scripts reek havoc with google+ and FF Ghostery and ad blocker making pages slow to load.
The path to and from the PM function are too far removed from the forum paths.
i have to say im not to fond of the "upgraded' RBR. Reason being is that you dont have the ability to change the layout .

Rep and Pro Reviews
Forums:
Rep... Especially anonymous rep / neg rep. Being able to make a comment regarding a post off the forum is ok… but the rep system is lame. (Especially since I have no rep.)
Pro Reviews:
They are good, but I'd like to see more video reviews and more buying guides / product value summaries. Getting a rundown of specs and test results is great… but what I really want is a short summary that lists the best product at various price points.
Example: Light Shootout
There is a ton of info… maybe too much IMO. But I have yet to find the summary that says if you have X dollars to spend, then product Y is your best bet. It is easy to see if I have a large budget, which light is the best… but for a modest budget, it is not that easy to see which is the best value.

I did it that way to be cool and hip. It all started on afternoon when I was shredding at Kirkwood in 2005 I was like "bro I am totally a snow junky, this is like my 40th day here and I am the ultimate shredder" the I proceeded to drink my 40oz of PBR and when finished I was like " dude not only am I a snow junky and am just outright to cool for a vowel" So then when I decided to become snowjnky. I was so cool that day.
years later I did contemplate changing my MTBR handle to Baycat, but though that was sort of gay.

How the Sam Hill did you manage to post that twice??? It's been a while since I've seen that happen.

Huh? My default is the linear mode which I hate. I changed it to hybrid. Wanna trade defaults?

But for realz
The worst part of MTBR has nothing to do with the forums or the website, It's when you run into somebody you know from the website and they only refer to you as your handle. I get it if you don't know their real name, but once you do use it. If I would have known I would have picked a way cooler handle like Sir Hucks-a-Lot
So if you ever do meet me my name is Santiago Jaxson not snowjnky

The search function is nearly worthless... results go way back to... January 2012. I use google to search mtbr + key words to find anything pre-2012.
Not being able to edit older posts, specifically TR's with photos where I've changed the hosting of my photos, so the links are broken and photos are no longer viewable in the TR.

Yessssssss!

The anonymous negative rep system.

My biggest peeve is that the site name is a homophone--at least if you're from the South)--for "empty beer" (see post #19).
Cuz that's just sad...

Non mountain biking related posts
Non mountain biking related posts, particularly in the Passion forum. They crowd out the posts I come here to read. Post your cat, new grandson photos, illegal checkpoints, relationship problems, etc. stuff somewhere else. If moderators moved them people would eventually get the message.

Let's see all the people who post up these killer rides and put in incredible yearly mileage and have the gall to post it...
Seriously, the search function is just worthless. This isn't the only board I'm on they are are horrible. Many questions maybe answered if it were actually useful.
To the board operators this is meant as constructive comments, running a board is tough and many times thankless. So thanks for the hard work in keeping the board running and all that you do.
