What are you doing with this fine Sunday?

Weather is truly amazing. Air is so clear and pollen is down. Trails are sweet too with the moisture in the hills the past few days.

Better question is what kind of beer doesn't go with perfect weather.

But I do find myself drinking a lot more IPA's in the spring/summer

Unfortunately sitting around this morning until my sons’ music lessons at 1:00PM. From there, hoping to get them out on the singletrack (did it Friday and Saturday) as they’re now taking the same steep/technical sections that I normally ride.

tired of poison oak on the hardtail and tired of blown fork riding on the all mountain bike, i took to the road to ride sideways into the wind.

huge road week for me, for better or for worse.

always enjoy a new challenge, but damnit I miss me some dirt. Besides the wind, the weather is perfect.

here is the Nisene Marks 50 year shin dig the wife and I went to this afternoon. Bud Mc Crary showed how to make a "shake": from a redwood that came off their property on the Butano creek. Pretty cool to talk to him. they also had a sawing demonstration and some fun for kids. A cal fire guy was branding some redwood branches cut in circles NM50,,,,, Nisene Marks 50 years, got one to put in a planter on the deck! I have always wanted to picnic @ Mary Easton site and this is the first time. The wife and I rode in on our bikes then went home and I jumped on my SS and rode back into the park and got some...What a grand day it was. Think I'll picnic there again soon.

I ended up going down fir, down manzanita, down giant salamander, methulsalah, south leaf, turned around and back up south leaf, north leaf. Down ECDM, up ECDM, tafoni, sierra morena, skyline road, bear gulch west road, blue blossom, crossover/crosscut, back up manzanita and done. Then beers. Cold ones.
