To the OP's credit, there are some ridiculously big holes that have formed on sunrise. I wouldn't even call them braking bumps, more like braking pits.

SBTS does a lot of trail work leading up to the race. A lot of these will be repaired by then and we will get a couple weeks of good trail after the race.

    See post #21

Was at Yuba Expeditions after our ride (free beer!) and they all agreed the braking bumps are ridiculously big AND a big fail. Since Yuba and SBTS are one in the same, they'll be the guys spending their time repairing the brakeholes, mostly due to dewshes, rather than building new trail.

What is up with all the skid kiddies?!

Braking bumps were many and plentiful this w/e on the downhill.
The race always kills the trail till it rains.
Better to go off piste 😏

Best advice. We saw only two other people on Upper Pauley Creek this weekend. Everyone does Butcher. Next trip up its Mills Peak or Chimney Rock. If we do the downhill it'll be Big Boulder and Second.
