Just like crashing, I let my guard down. I started scratching two days later before I realized that was all oak on my arm and knees.

Big weekend of skateboarding, and then a bonus Gods Trail rip just before sundown yesterday with a HopDogma tap-room session. \m/\m/

Watched the radar get real interesting on my way home, timed it perfectly to catch a hard shower on the way over to Older....

Just enough rain had fallen to keep the dust down, hardly hero but real fun to be out in some real weather.

Got up to the top of Maisies and watched the next line of showers and lightening move through Santa Clara etc on its way towards me.

Got mighty windy up at Pacifica, ended up just sessioning some jumps under tree and hill cover. Ended up being stoked on the ride because I took the time to get comfy on that three pack in the first picture. Took a little staring at before I gave it a go, but super glad I did.

I have the oak all over me and been kinda out of it as the steroids take effect.

I think I'm good to go today. And it's much cooler now too.

Looks like we have cooler weather for the forseeable future.

Did the Monday wind storm knock out any trees in our trails. Took out a few houses, I hear as it happened around 2am.

YO FC sorry to hear about the PO! It is so miserable - icing it gives such amazing temporary relief - sounds like you're through the worst of it though

Had a totally disappointing ride today at Redwood. First, I found out I have a painful pimple on my ass that hurts when in the saddle and pedaling. Fine, I can deal with that. Then somehow I got stung twice by wasps, one in my armpit, one right above my ass crack. So now I'm pretty uncomfortable pedaling between the zit and wasp stings. Then I come across a surly hiker who found it necessary to block my path, inform me this is not a bike trail, then take my picture to send it to the rangers, all the while I'm doing my best to be friendly. Unbelievable. At that point I was over it, turned around and went back to the car. This was one of the rare times I wish I hadn't even pedaled out. Ugh.

Running is what you do when your bike is broken.
