Turkey ride Mission Peak 2012
A few of us are going. Is there anybody else going this year? Based on weather forecast, we may have to go up Stanford.

Ohlone is completely dry and was good a day after the last rain.
-
I rode stanford this morning, velcro traction up most of the steep stuffs. Did go further than the Y though.
Another guy rode up from Ohlone and his bike looks clean.
This place need about a day to dry but if you have to, it is ridable immediately after rain, or in the rain.

Cool. If it does not rain too much over the next 24 hours, we'll go up Ohlone.

That's what I'm calling it too. Of course it's really just watching football and drinking beer, but she doesn't need to know ;-)

Nice turnout
Looks like a cool party guys! All the "reservoir dogs" make it off the mountain without incident? We had a few mishaps at Kennedy's turkey day ride ... one involved a badly broken arm on dogmeat.
Suicide by single speed. Work in progress.

When we first did it (pre lechon days) a few years back, I think that 6 people showed up. It looks like 100 riders were there this year, and some more were climbing up as we were descending.

Lot's of riders now realize it's pretty up there despite its challenge. Same thing with the hikers. When Francis and other guys started riding there, way back when, it is their private trail. Now it is crowded. We'll be up there at the Hang Gliding area on Dec. 16, Sunday, for Christmas @ The Peak. We'll be pulling food again to the top. It is a potluck.
