Made the last section of South Burma a boring switch back to the fire road. Bottom line is it's rideable but be careful on the rocky sections.
forecast indicates more rain for today and wed in Santa Rosa---are you guys seeing intermittent showers or heavy, sustained rainfall? i'm hoping to hit annadel thu, fri, sat AND sunday ha ha, so hopefully it's hero dirt. if its muddy, i'll probably go for a quick hike instead (up and down rough go). thanks in advance!

It rained last night / this morning pretty hard. It seems like the soil is still not completely saturated so I would expect that if it's dry wed/ thurs then Annadel will be ridable. It's probably pretty muddy today.

Rocky Ridge was awesome today. A little "goopy" climbing the shady spot just after the bridge. Same with the shady spots on Stiles. It's been "misting" off-and-on today. Look like more of the same tomorrow. Get it while its hot.

Rode the Alviso Slough dirt loop yesterday, was mostly dry with a few wet spots and puddles, most of which could be avoided. Interesting that the first 2 miles of trail from the marina in each direction are absolute minefields of muddy footprints. A few wheel tracks, but they are almost invisible in the sea of deep prints left by walkers. Guess that shoots down MV's theory that foot traffic does not damage trails.

We got heavy rain in Santa Cruz last night. Better leave the trails alone for the next 2-3 days.

Ok rewind.... that was a lot of rain last night.

I was all ready to ride my SS @ STCP when I look out the window and see.....water. Wēk Sôs

Just got back from STCP, the trails were open but a fair bit of it was soft. Good for descending, not so good for climbing, and slick in some parts.

Rode skeggs today around 4pm (main lot-resolution-methusala loop)
Its a little sloppy but not too bad, just bring a change of clothes for the drive home, probably 6 out of 10 on the mud scale.

I rode Annadel yesterday and had mixed feelings. Spring Creek was covered in slimy mud and leaves. I took a spill early on when I slipped on a rock and landed on my tail bone. I kept riding, but the pain kept getting worse. so I cut it short Ridge wasn't that good either, but South Burma was pretty nice for the most part. With the beautiful weather today, I bet it will be nice again by this weekend though. I need to go tire shopping.

Yesterday-Heinz open space/Belgatos - Tacky/softish, still not wet enough for the clay issues
Today - Kennedy - Hero dirt, hero mud, hero riders

For those not in attendance yesterday, Pine Mtn in Marin was a mess...a fun, lovable, sloppy mess!

Annadel was pretty sweet today. Lots of folks out enjoying the sunshine and mostly tacky trails. Some puddles.
