Trail condition UPDATE For Mendocino Coast 2/14/18

The NOR-CAL - Mendocino Coast, conditions are ideal at the moment. The Double and Triple Double loops were recently ridden and conditions were perfect.

Shithole is still a shithole, but for those looking for a challenge, it can be fun. The Big River Trail from the Woodlands to bottom of High Chutes is still closed until later spring.

I've been riding my new I9 wheelset and what a difference the stiffness brings to perfect trail conditions. Better than sex!

I'll second what Roo has written.

I was up in Mendocino for the weekend, and trails were riding well. Biggest problem was not enough riding traffic to clear off the redwood needles dropped by the last few storms.

You started to lose me when you recently said Mendo riding was better than Santa cruz, but now saying a new wheelset is better than sex....you have totally jumped the shark.

Maybe Im just not using my wheelsets the same way you are....

I can't remember saying that we have better riding than SC. I would not say that, as I have never ridden there. I think I might have said, " Mendocino riding is like Santa Cruz on steroids!". This was an affirmation from those who have ridden both.

... And as far as the wheelset is concerned: Yes, it's a whole new sexual experience! More like my Ibis 928's on Viagra! A "stiffer" ride and just right for my age and level of riding!

So Mendocino riding is like riding Santa Cruz with shriveled balls the size of raisins

Funny, I have ridden both extensively and I would say just the opposite.

SC riding is like Mendo on roids.
