Strangely enough, the race was originally scheduled for the prior weekend, which put it an ambiguous time relative to the 4th of July and we didn't want to be competing with what might be the busiest weekend of the year for the rafters going up Drivers. So we have come through and saved you from that, well kind of........
Going to Auburn is going to be fun, lots of opportunities to cheer and jeer the racers by family and friends as well as drunken rafters and their carnival worker reject van drivers.

    I'm In! Totally Stoked!

This will be the only race I do this year (as comanded by She Who Must Be Obeyed). This is going to be awesome! especially if the last 35 miles are what it looks like they will be. Finishing in Auburn will make it epic...and then you can just coast over to the alehouse from railhead park. Nice!

Great Job Jimmy, Sean and others. Keep up the great work.

    What is a "healing vibe"???

    Jeff,
I really gave it some thought of heading out and around HITG. The problem is the railroad tracks and the private property exiting HITG. From what Jim has gathered, we can't cross the tracks on Soda Springs Rd, SP won't allow it. That would be a brutal race, much more than 100 miles. Maybe an underground race this summer. I'd organize and race it, who else is in?

    What a ride!!

We had the pleasure of riding the new portion of the Tahoe Sierra 100. I have tell you that " IT WAS SO MUCH FUN".
I have done Leadville, High Cascades 100 , Cream Puff and the Tahoe Sierra 100.
    This beats them all.
The new section that has been added was crazy. The single track is fast and very technical. We went under this tunnel that was cool, but the river views made it hard to keep your eye on the trail. The climb at the end called stage coach? is going to be hard.
From what the race director said the new finish line is in Downtown Auburn, another great addition.
You better be in the best shape you can be to finish this race. Be all that you can be or don't show up. I did the last TS100 in 10:30 and some change and now I think I am looking at 12:30 and some change. Truly a Epic race in the making.

Tahoe Sierra 100 here I come

Just signed up for the "Pain 100". That's is what they should call it. After last years race I am not sure if I did the right thing? I am hoping and praying that I can finish under the 14hrs.
After riding the new section of the course from Foresthill to Auburn last week. GOOD GOD WHAT A RIDE!! Holly Sh#*t. Better bring your "A" game.
I crashed three times and never had some much fun doing it. I talked with Auburn Bike Works and they said the new map will be up in the next two weeks. Waiting to see how much climbing was added.

Hey folks, I and a friend purchased TS 59 entries and then both qualified for the TS 100 (got the TS 59 entries as back up if we DNQ). Let me know if you'd like to purchase/transfer one or both entries. Thanks.
    Ok, guy.

Ah, so no singletrack from foresthill to ruckachucky. Thats one of the best sections!

I was bummed to hear this by auburn state parks today, but it makes sense. That'd be ten miles of almost impossible to pass anyways
