    Suggestion for tahoe

Hi ! I am going to Tahoe this weekend and I will have a day off (yuhuuuu!!). Can you recommend me any tracks? Since It will be a solo ride, I am thinking of a relatively frequented one, with max 20 miles and 3000 feet climb. I am looking for an enduro downhill (nor DH neither AM). Can you please help me? I guess there are plenty of tracks but I only have one day for the bike so would like to find a great one !!

A great ride is either the armstrong to toads ride, or the cold creek to star lake (out and back). A longer variation is Cold creek to Star, then north on TRT to Van Sickle.

Do Toads. 19 miles 3200 feet of climbing. Park at Oneidas ride the cement Fountain Place rd up to Armstrong to Tahoe Rim Trail (TRT) to saxon creek trail (Mr Toads). Here is a map you can use to plot your way.

And what it looks like on strava..

This is the same ride RollinRob posted but you climb single track to the start of Armstrong trail instead of a 3 mile ride up the paved road (Fountain place). To me its a much nicer climb. I would highly recommend riding this loop! Toads is about as fun as it gets! Popular route, so you wont feel totally alone on a solo ride.

Hole In The Ground would be a good choice on the north side of the lake.

Another choice would ,park at Spooner Lake ,take the shuttle to the rim trail . Rim trail to the Flume or to Marlette lake ,Chimney Beach road back to Spooner .
