STOLEN Trek Fuel EX 5
Please my dear MTBR users, help me to share this news to your friends by any way. This bike means a lot to me, I can't live without it.
It was stolen somewhere near Live Oak Park, Santa Clara, CA 95050, USA yesterday between 3pm to 9pm. It is a Trek Fuel EX 5 (19.5") 2011 version with 4660 miles on it, I bought it by my own money which I had been saving for a whole year and owning a mountain bike was my childhood dream. After I came to America, I made it all by myself, and thats why I love my bike so much.
Here are some information about the bike;
Tires: WTB Weirwolf 2.3
Saddle: bontrager inform RL (128mm)
Frame: Trek Fuel Ex 5 - 2011 (19.5")
Computer: sigma BC1609
Headlight: Dosun D1 + Dosun S1 Delux
Pedals: Shimano M520 SPD
Also, I have posted this on craigslist, if it is possible, please help me to share this link:

I do not own a car and this happened when I went to my friend's house 11 miles away from my house. I feel so sorry to my bike now, please help me out and thank you so much!
There are more pictures of the bike if needed.

Damn Eric, I saw your photos on Facebook and it is obvious how much you loved and appreciated your bike. We'll be on the lookout. Hang in there!
I'll keep an eye out in the area. That bike should be noticeable. Then again, I thought mine was.
I'm hoping given the location it was stolen at, it was a junkie who would ride it around and not one of the rings in the area.

I don't live in the immediate area but am searching for a frame for a friend to build up. Will keep an eye out for! I'd let the closest Trek dealer know that your bike is stolen just in case they patronize that location. If they have a stolen bike board in the shop post a pic up.
That sucks big time...had my first mt bike stolen as well.

Dood, that blows.
If this helps, you can subscribe to this Google Group on stolen bicycles in the Bay Area. I'll share this post with a friend of mine who's pretty active about stolen bikes in the Bay Area (she's even managed to recover her own Ibis).
