Good luck with the recovery. Police report, posting to mtbr, and informing Ibis were the steps that worked for me.

Fight the insurance. Every year I ask my agent to confirm that my bikes are covered without a special rider. Every year the answer is yes. When my was stolen, I received full value (minus deductible) back. The adjuster needed my help in assessing the value - initially he received something low like you are talking about.

When I lost a bike years ago, I had my LBS put together an estimate of what the bike would have cost to replace. The insurance paid out off of that.

I was in the market for an ibis silk and you rarely, raaarely see the newest graphic frames for sale, ever. Not on craigslist, not on ebay, nothing.

If that frame pops up, it will be obvious.

I'll keep a lookout, best of luck with insurance. **** bike thieves.

2013 Ibis Mojo HD Carbon Mountain Bike Medium Size

That came up in Sac's CL. Looks similar but the rims are different. I don't know Ibis so not sure if it's the same frame or not. Either way, best of luck on the recovery.
