The studio this was recorded in, Le Studio, and seen here, fell into a state of disrepair and was sold not long ago for basically peanuts. Wish I had bought it. Given the location it could have been an awesome rock-n-roll MTB hangout. It burned down August 2017.

Ever since I watched this youtube video:

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mOvMR9K4YNc

I've had the song in my head.

The song is "Hi Ho" by The War and Treaty and it is a very very good song. The video is incredible also!
My mantra: Hike, Bike, Paddle, Ski

For me it’s been an entire album from a truly original band whose sound has never been successfully emulated:

Seen this thread hanging around awhile. I normally try to play a specific song that I know I'll like before I get to the riding spot so I won't go crazy with something accidentally torturous, but I haven't felt like it's been worth posting about yet. Until the other day when I forgot. How the hell does Cher's "If I could turn back time" get stuck in ANYONE'S head if that person isn't subjected to it involuntarily??? It was a tough day.

Yep... this. Whatever the last song I heard, or often times some seemingly random song. It's an issue! And everyone that knows me, including my kids know it, so they'll sing one line of some Disney or muppet song, or an ad jingle as I walk out the door, knowing that I'll be stuck with it for hours!

That bass player is Geezer Butler, one of the founding members of Black Sabbath and the guy who wrote the song Paranoid!

On a far too frequent basis I find myself whistling the Indiana Jones theme song while riding.

In addition to Jammonit I also like this one, something about the rambling rhythm just fits a good flowy ride.

^^ Jerry Reed is probably the most under appreciated guitar picker in history.

I don't want to be your friend
I just want to be your lover
    No matter how it ends
    No matter how it starts
Forget about your house of cards
    And I'll do mine
Forget about your house of cards
    And I'll do mine
    Fall off the table
    Get swept under
    Denial, denial
    The infrastructure will collapse
    Voltage spikes
Throw your keys in the bowl
    Kiss your husband goodnight
Forget about your house of cards
    And I'll do mine
Forget about your house of cards
    And I'll do mine
    Fall off the table
    And get swept under
    Denial, denial
    Denial, denial
    Your ears should be burning
    Denial, denial
    Your ears should be burning
one by nine works just fine but single speed is all ya need
BTW, it’s called “sarcasm”; you’re soaking in it!

This is not the origin Bon Scott version because youtube pulls down all originals posted. Get the AC/DC version, but this one works.

Is there a better song to be stuck in your head as you grind out a long ass climb??
