Shredding POW in Tahoe, still miss the bike though!
-
digging dirt and making dreams come true...other than that, not much.
Peanut butter Tuesday, if you know what I mean!
-
I love to see the digging dirt posts. A rainy weekend at Tamarancho takes a long time to fix. I can't believe so many ride up there when it rains. Get out and do some trail work!

Painting my daughters bedroom. I would rather get all the inside projects done while it is cold-wet-rainy than in the spring and summer when I can ride!

Bought a bike over the phone and bike parts on the interwebs. No crowded malls for me.

Ran a bunch of errands and then a funny thing happened. After hitting Scotts Valley Feed, we were on our way to a winery in Felton and were driving down Mt Hermon.
The wife asks "have you been to Scotts Valley CycleSport?"
Me - "Uh, not lately, do you want to go?"
Her - "Oh, let's go check out if they have a sale."
That turned into about 4 hours of running around town and five bike stores. A stop at SC Mtn Brewery was required as well. Apparently we are down to two finalists --
2012 Specialized Safire Comp
2013 Santa Cruz Juliana
Due to sales, they are both about the same price. The Safire was described as "comfortable, but more like a Prius." The Juliana was "the sports car".
This should be amusing to see where this ends up.

Santa shopping is done so today was digging on the pump track (all the turns are dug out now) and squeezed in a road ride, rest of the weekend will be spent cooking, building up the new fixed gear roadie, updating Minecraft for WheelsJr, and maybe a trainer ride. Nice to chill at home for a change.
"You are by far the most interesting single-serving friend I have ever met."

True. No news. But I may poach his trails tomorrow or Kennedy if it is decent enough (and I wake up early enough) in the morning. I'm lazy these days.
