    Snow ride on Saratoga Gap

Early yesterday morning: snow, at times lots of it:

The sun breaking through made for a pleasant ride. Yes, this is an understatement.
And the slippery roots and rocks made the trail even more interesting.

Unlike Saratoga Gap, Long Ridge on the other side of Skyline was a mudfest (a pretty one though), so I turned around and rode the Gap some more.

How was Skegg's doing in the meantime? Even more snow:

Didn't ride it but I'm sure there was some trail bliss to be found there too.

Great timing. That could be once in a lifetime. Great camera skills too.

Thanks; on sunday morning it seems there was even more snow - my gf went running on the same trails (yes, I still need to do some work to convert her to mtb) and mentioned everything was completely covered...

I sense the FEAR... the fear of what you don't understand-
