Hail (or sleet), rain, and some snow on Skyline. 35°

Think I'll be getting my exercise splitting firewood today.

So that is a rare occurrence there? I see it's snowing on our 2500 foot peaks now too but I'm not inclined yet to rally up there.

It snows here almost every year. I live at 1800'.
I've even skied some of the higher peaks just behind my house
    several times.
30 minute bike ride to the ski slopes!

We have accumulation in Kelseyville. Surprising this late in the year. We usually see this in January. Normally that would be a view of Clear Lake.

We had a pretty good little hail storm in Castro Valley this morning ~7:30 or so. Only about 4 or 5 minutes, and it was warm enough that it melted in a minutes, but it was throwing it down! Sunny now - hope it stays that way - I've had enough rain...

Snowing off and on all day today.
Got a bit of accumulation. The sun comes out
    and melts it.
    Then it starts snowing again.
We'll see how much snow is on the ground tomorrow morning.
Huge, fat flakes are falling now.

Hail for about 10 min in the valley, melted in another 10 min of pouring rain. I was starting to think we were in the clear for a while

Snow level was about 2500 ft. for the hills east of San Jose. You could probably ski at the Lick Observatory today if the road was open!
Friends don't let friends ride e-"bikes" on dirt.

Nature is not a sidewalk (I'm looking at you, MidPen).
