    Skeggs today was A+

I've never seen it better!! Saw friends at the parking lot but nobody on the trail.

The bike ended up cleaner than when it started.

Not sure yet... I was shooting for 2:30, but Bassn wants to hit it closer to 1:30. What time are you guys out there? Always fun to get crushed on the climbs by you and Rox.

Update: 1:30 at the Skeggs Point Lot

Hit it today, or better put it hit me. I'll never try to climb all of Gordon Mill again, though!

Met some new faces from mtbr in the parking lot after, too!

Great conditions out there. Hit several of my favorite trails out there with Bassn and his brother. So tired now.

fgiraffe - great meeting you out there at the parking lot.

"The bike ended up cleaner than when it started."

Did the Resolution Root "clean" you, rather than the other way around?

The Resolution root rung my bell and cleaned my clock.

2x now, on the downhill direction.

It's been years since I've been to Skeggs. I always end up riding trails the wrong direction...What trails and which direction did you ride?

    Thanks

    The new money loop is:
Skeggs Lot >> down Manzanita >> down Crosscut >> up Gordon Mill >> right Skyline blvd to Bear Gulch >> down Blue Blossom >> up Gordon Mill >> up Crosscut >> Down Giant Salamander >> up the creek >>up North Leaf >> up Resolution.

That loop rocks. I like to add a Resolution (down) - Tafoni (up) loop at the beginning to warm up.

I've ridden with Justin and some of his buddies from Rockville: Ian and Mike Fine...I'm not in that kind of shape anymore

I think I'll ride with my girl instead

Fellow mtbr member Ergin has a couple Skeggs loops with elevation totals and profiles, so you can see what you are getting into.
Very handy. This shorter loop will introduce you to the park and not might not kill you.

Conditions were primo especially with the new rig. We did Fir > Resolution > N. Leaf > Giant Salamander > Timberview > up Manzanita > Fir > Sierra Morena > Bear Gulch Rd > Blue Blossom > Crosscut > Giant Salamander (the other way) > Methuselah > Fir > Sierra Morena!
