    singlespeed trails near concord?

hi guys, i will be up in concord for an overnight for business and i'm contemplating taking my singlespeed mtb with me.

what are some good trails within riding distance of the city? i'm not sure if i'll have a car to get around.

    thanks!

Not much on Mt. Diablo, unless you are superman ,there are some trails in Shell Ridge that are SS friendlly .Briones might be doable depending on where you start. If you just want to get a ride in there is the Iron Horse Trail and the Canel trail ,both are paved you could get a lot of miles.

Shell Ridge then loop it out to Diablo Foothills or flip-flop. You could enter at Castle Rock in Walnut Creek head out to Shell Ridge, over to Diablo Foothills drop back in to Canyon Trail out to Castle Rock.

I can meet you on my single and lead if you're doing this on a weekend?
You only live once, but if you work it right, once is enough.

Sorry, I was only up there for a day. I actually did Redwood Regional Park on my way home, west ridge/east ridge loop trail.

Very beautiful, I'm definitely bringing my bike next time I'm up here.

    Thanks for the help guys!
