Demo, meetup at 9:00AM, morning of Saturday July the 6th 2013. Iím not quite sure where Demo is, or what the parking and facilities there are like, but somehow or another Iíll make it out there.

Saturday 6th July 2013 - Team Social Pace group ride (all are welcome!!!)

I'll join if my wife isn't angry at me in 2 weeks...I won't be drinking but will be sniffing glue. Don't care about the where but hoping to god it's not 100+ F.

Edit. Crap, I think I might be camping at the Pinnacles next weekend. Coe?
I'm not sure how this works.

Yeah I might be able to swing a ride in either of those places. I have to work later that day at 1pm so the drunken festivites will have to wait.

So, looks like some interest in Santa Teresa County Park, a selection I am perfectly OK with.

Now, if only we could manage to get Ancient Rascal to properly break in his full-squish bike with usógotta push that bike through itís pacesóthat would be fully rad.

Assuming STCP is in fact agreed upon by the consensus, well, I will go ahead and choose the Harry/Camden intersection (by the trailhead logs that I will clear on my fully-rigid fatbike drunk or not) starting point. Ample FREE parking there, just donít leave your valuables in plain sight (duh! Youíll be RIDING your valuables, sillies!!!).

So far: Tosa, Mboldt, Squashyo, Ancient Rascal, Rho, Leopold Porkstacker, Ridn High, Nelson34, DirtVert, Stulax18, Dion, IamHolland, and who else now is confirmed??? See you pinchos locos vatos Sabado!!!

Hey Brett, not sure about me. I haven't been riding and I'm in no shape to hang with you guys. I'm not sure I can even make the climb up to the radio tower right now.

Edit: AR got a FS? Damn...seems like everyone that I thought would never get a FS has got one...

Aww man!!! Plenty of us here havenít been up to our usual biking antics. As always, the Team Social Pace rides arenít about getting KOMs and making the others feel inadequate. Hell, if itís any consolation, Iíll pound three beers before leaving my house (I ride to/from the trails on 80% of my rides, and STCP is almost in my backyard).

Sorry guys but I am officially camping with no baby sitter in sight. I'll be sniffing glue with my children (parents gotta bond with their kids...bond...glue, that was accidentally funny) at the Pinnacles Thursday-Sunday. Have fun out there!

Iíve never been to Demo, and am tired of hearing how rad it isÖ so if everyone agrees on meeting up there, count me in.

    ^^ I second the motion!

Too bad the Mayor of Demo (squashyo) will be outta town... I would recommend parking in the inner lot, across the bridge--much better for post-ride festivities.

I'd give you a ride, but I'll be taking my 23+ year old truck which will break down at the most inopportune time, causing you to miss your leadership at the ride.

It's sorta too bad that your hitting it for your first time when trails are dry and a little on the blown out side but you should still have a blast. Stay clear of Corral and stick with Sawpit and Braille (or Bacon). Bring a little extra water as it's super easy to get dehydrated in there.

I just did a Coral, Braille, Braille run and it was awesome on my 40lb+ Bullit...once I got the suspension dialed in. I was sweating like a sweaty pig...wish I could join y'all.
I'm not sure how this works.

Gonna try. I'm not sure if I can make it. I need to get up early to get there at 9. I've been putting in lots of hours, and just zapped of energy...and I still have not put the rack on my car. Procrastination at it's best. I'm not sure I can hang with you guys, but I plan on doing 1 Sawpit loop and out, maybe Bacon if I can swing it. I don't think I have the legs for more than that right now, and 1 loop is going to be painful beyond belief.

If I'm not there by 9AM, I'm probably not going to be there.

So I have never been there. But this seems like a good time to check out more of Santa Cruz's trail system.
I am coming from Sonoma County, I am guessing that 17 to Summit road is the easiest way to get there?

No ride offers yet. Might actually have to haul my ass up there and figure it out on my own. Google Maps is showing me that itís right by the fire stationóis this correct? Who wants to drive my sorry ass over there so Iím not driving around in circles?

17 to summit road east until you reach a stop sign. Go right and immediately left where it says corralitos. Continue on highland way until you see the parked cars.

Are you guys meeting in the upper or lower parking lot?

Google Maps: "Corner of Hihn's Mill Rd. and Highland Way, Los Gatos, CA"

I'd vote for parking in the inner lot (across the bridge)--closer to the bathroom and better for post-ride festivities.

Err, no clue. I plan on arriving a bit before. :P Most everyone is usually late anyway, and we (historically) start late due the guys on Mexican time arriving 30 minutes behind schedule. Brett, what say you?

I have a green Santa Cruz Nickel with white rims and 2.1" XC tires. My 6" bike needs a brake bleed, just found that out, so it's the 5" bike to the rescue. Are you on the Firebird or the Glory, tomorrow?

Let's meet in the upper lot, the proper lot, if the chain is down. I plan on parking there. If the chain is up, meet in front of the lot.

You can't miss Brett, easiest person to point out. The orange rigid bike with 3" or 4" wide tires with a rider in a lycra kit.

Click me and meet up here

I hope there are no wasps/hornets up top.
