    Sacred Heart Jesuit Center

As my sister said, "Can't hurt."
I rode up to the top of College today and visited the Governor's Alma Mater.

Back in the day we called it the Novitiate, but now its the Sacred Heart Jesuit Center. I guess most people think of it as the Testa Rosa Winery.

They've got a grotto there and a prayer for a good Pope seemed appropriate, so i did.

Coincidentally over at the meditation garden a century plant was about to bloom!

    It was a great day!

I live on this hill; most people still refer to it as the Novitiate, or at least most people I know. There are some great perks with Testarossa for living on the hill as well!

Funny, I live around here too. If you have kids or not, take em out there to feed the roaming Donkeys. Also, you can access St. Joes via side trail but you can't get bike through unless you are good at throwing.

My buddy just bought a house down the hill from this property...wonder if they'd let us build a skills park down the side of the hill. ???
Peanut butter Tuesday, if you know what I mean!

Nice shots... I went to High School in LG and we always called it the Novitiate too. Beautiful up there.

In reference to AR's new home search... I think this is where AR needs to move. Instant access to ST Joe's and Kennedy. He just needs to pretend to be a retired jesuit. Other than that small detail, its perfect.

Pretty neat place. If I ride up Jones I make it a point to also ride up and circle the statue at the top. I never go too much farther due to the signs but will venture out there next time. I always love the fake ducks in the pond to your right as you ride up!

I got an image of that too!
You can follow the fire road past the grotto all the way to the junction of Jones and the flume trails.
Another place where you'll need to throw your bike over the gate to continue.
