RBR folks have been looking for "ironic" jerseys. Bonus points for fast food.

Thats an old Bayside Adventure Sports jersey. The Mickey Dees emblems have been a little bit of a running joke/sore spot with the BAS members.
Back when the jerseys were printed up, a local franchise helped cover the costs. They also have a Ford dealership on them.
Thats not a bad picture of zon ('not bad' being a relative term). I'm pretty sure they air brushed his nose to look straighter.

I am planning on running full rigid this weekend for the 8hr. Does anyone know this course? Should I swap out my front fork for a shock?

Huh??? When I asked the scorer where I placed he said 4tth place. Left before the awards. Where did you find that 411?

the scorekeeping seemed disorganized. my friend got 2nd overall and he wasn't even listed on the initial scoresheet.

At any rate,, it was a great race,, 'cept for the broken rear deraileur cable on lap 3 reducing me to a 3 speed for the remainder and the heat that rolled in around lap 4. Fun stuff.

    Their web site is here

Adventure Sports Week Tahoe - Lake Tahoe Mountain Bike Race

Me? Did 4 laps/ 50 miles, then drank an IPA. Then another... I had over 2 hours to do a fifth lap, but I wussed out.

Nice course and event. Hardly had to brake at all and I didn't have to move out of people's way every 30 seconds, like Boggs. It would be nice to route some singletrack to avoid the rocky road descent and climb, though.

Funny had no clue this was going on, wouldn't have mattered though the wife was doing her 8-mile paddleboard race. But definitely something to shoot for next year as long as race dates don't coincide again.
