    Rider Down: Pat McCoy

Pat has multiple rib fractures near his sternum, punctured both lungs and broke his scapula today racing. He's at John Muir Hospital for at least a week. Please think good strong healing thoughts for this funny boy Pat McCoy who recently joined the racing scene and podiummed every race...thanks...bb

John Muir is a Very Good Trauma center glad thats where he is at. his lungs are the biggest concern, keeping them inflated and infection/ pneumonia free

    My prayers out to him..

I really hate seeing how many of us got hurt this year, and there were so many different injuries this year too.

Mountain cross out at Sand Hill Ranch. Pat's been racing/riding motocross at least 35 years, and riding bikes a couple decades. I'll update after I visit this week. Thanks

AH, ok. I was thinking he got hurt at the Santa Teresa race, but I didn't remember anyone getting carried out while I was there.

Healing vibes sent out, and hopefully he'll recover soon.
