Sorry to hear about the trail sabotage...Happy Birthday kid
-
wow. where's my saw to fix that?
Happy birthday skyno

That looks like the work of the enforcers and would guess these would be the San Mateo county folks. Are these official trails or ..are they closed?
Some unnamed tails off of Kings Mountain had the same treatment last year. The half cut trees are really hard to deal with unless you finish the cut and a pretty nifty way shut down a trail. At the same time it is such a ridiculous ecological policy that it is hard to fathom the justification.
If you want to talk about sabotaging trails, we ride on trails in very low light that get a crazy mans treatment of logs dragged right at the apex of high speed blind turns, head height height branches across the trail, redirects on a high side into big logs etc. every year. And they do it for miles so it seem to be a multiday effort. It is not cool trying to actually injure folks and it is not the rangers. Seems to happen every year though in the spring.
Anyway, Happy B-Day.

Happy birthday dude!
Go easy on the dirt consumption, it might be a good microbe transition vector, ha!

That's pretty weird. Especially since these trails are almost exclusively maintained by mtb'ers. HBD.

Cheap trail/game camera might be worth it

How cheap are they? I get the impression that they're not.
Any place to report this to? 'Intent to harm' factor is what usually raises the red flags.
-
Game cams are fairly inexpensive. Go hit the local Bass Pro!
-I'd report that to the local Board of Supervisors regardless of trail designation.
Felling Tree's in dangerous places along any trail is NOT how enforcement should handle shutting down a trail. My money is on it being a random saboteur.

Pretty weak way to try to "close" trails. A standard pack saw can clear those in a couple minutes each. More likely the work of a disgruntled idiot than an actual ranger. Trust me, when the rangers drop trees there is no clearing them! (And it's very sad indeed, in either case, to lose trees that way).
And yes, happy b-day skyno!
Half the planet is deep into bloody tribal mayhem. We’re just riding bikes (and drinking beer) here.

Cheap ploy to get people to say happy birthday if you ask me.
I'm not sure how this works.

You always see right through all of my ploys, especially the really good ones - all I really want is to be wished a HBD - now off to Chevy's

PSA - Trees intentionally blocking off trails in Pacifica / Montara
I know that trail, great flow on that run, specially at the top! It was so dry and dusty the last time I rode it. The dirt must’ve been perfect!
Happy Birthday bro!
