Heck ya man, that's what I'm talking about. Leaving work early today to head up there for some trail work. The next week is going to be primo building time.
Camera is at home but I can see the Truckee River from my work window. It is getting angrier. Snowing here now, for now.

* FORECAST...RISE ABOVE FLOOD STAGE BY EARLY SUNDAY MORNING AND
CONTINUE TO RISE TO NEAR 8.2 FEET BY LATE SUNDAY MORNING. THE RIVER
WILL FALL BELOW FLOOD STAGE BY SUNDAY EVENING.
Saratoga Creek right behind my house, USGS site showed a peak of 200cfs up in Saratoga. Looks like I got some new firewood:
And yep, those are ducks out in the stream:
It was only about 4' wide last week (@ 2cfs):
And I would assume the San Tomas Aquino Creek bike trail will probably be closed until Monday at least. Water levels should drop fairly fast but it'll take the city some time to clear out all the mud and debris on the underpasses.
And the sun just broke through the clouds, the solar heat just kicked on at the house!
