    Otago Rail Trail

A friend of mine came across this article on the rail trail in New Zealand. I did this 12 years ago and was a lot of fun, great people, great scenery, awesome rail relics. Also, the phrase: "developing a national network of cycle trails," caught my pedal.

    Anyway, here's the article:

Has been on my list of rides to do for quite a while. Didn't get to go riding on my last two trips to NZ (2006, 2010) as I was towing along family members who do not ride. My daughter promised to ride the Otago trail with me once she is out of college, part of a longer north to south NZ ride I have planned for one day.
"You're messing with my zen thing, man!"
